Electoral review of Stafford

Tell us what you think

The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England is carrying out an electoral review of Stafford Borough Council.

The first part of the review is for the Commission to consider the right number of councillors to represent Stafford in the future.

How many councillors?

The Commission is asking local people whether Stafford Borough Council should be represented by 40 councillors in future - 19 fewer than the current arrangement.

Before we take a firm decision, we want to hear the views of local people.

Do you think 40 councillors is the right number for the council to be able to take decisions FOR Stafford effectively?

Could 40 councillors effectively represent the interests of all the communities across Stafford Borough?

Find out more about the review at www.lgbce.org.uk or have your say directly at consultation.lgbce.org.uk.
